This is actually incorrect
For example when manually adding a PTR for 10.9.8.7 in zone 10.in-addr.arpa.I have to enter the host IP (n the GUI) as 7.8.9The zone is already displayed as 10.in-addr.arpa.I type the host name manuallyI hit OKThen, the hos iP shows in the GUI as 10.9.8.8 - which is correct. The instructions should be updated.(This is when managing a 2008R2 installation from Win 7 w RSAT)

The table in the example needs Primary Key
Please fix the table script by assigning the primary key for the table which is required for peer to peer replication.

4412 hash mismatch sometimes happens for some files for no reason
followed the guide to the letter, all went good, compared selectively hashes on some files in both source and destination dirs after robocopy, all matched. Yet after enabling replication on some volumes I still got a few dozens of 4412 hash mismatches (low percentage among thousands of thousands of files) even tho I know for sure they weren't modified in any way. Not a big deal, since it sync quickly, but I wasn't able to figure out why it sometimes happens (not on all volumes), thought maybe FS

Curious why OVER (ORDER BY s.SalesYTD) wasn't used with each of the functions in this example instead of ordering by a.PostalCode...Suggested Example:USE AdventureWorks2012;GOSELECT p.FirstName, p.LastName ,ROW_NUMBER() OVER (ORDER BY s.SalesYTD) AS "Row Number" ,RANK() OVER (ORDER BY s.SalesYTD) AS Rank ,DENSE_RANK() OVER (ORDER BY s.SalesYTD) AS "Dense Rank" ,NTILE(4) OVER (ORDER BY s.SalesYTD) AS Quartile ,s.SalesYTD ,a.PostalCodeFROM Sales.SalesPerson AS s INNER JOIN Pe

IN Service settings i think it's lost IsReportBuilderAnonymousAccessEnabled element instruction
Ref : http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc281309.aspx (Configure Basic Authentication on the Report Server)the IsReportBuilderAnonymousAccessEnabled element to the RSReportServer.config and set it to True.
After you save the file, the report server creates a new endpoint to
Report Builder. The endpoint is used internally to access program files
and does not have a programmatic interface that you can use in code.
Having a separate endpoint allows Report Builder to run in its own

You can't use table-valued parameters in C# if you have SQL_VARIANT column
That's not possible because you have to pass a DataTable to the SqlCommand object and DataTables do not support [object] as the data type for a column. They also do not support anything else that would map to SQL_VARIANT on MSSQL's side. You can't avoid the DataTable in any way hence you can't use table-valued parameters if any of the columns is SQL_VARIANT. You have to use nvarchar/string instead and do type conversions yourself (performance hit) or just issue single INSERT/UPDATE commands (hug
