We were dead in the water until we read the community additions. Thanks to ITBland for pointing out the error in the examples. I just started with these this week but from an initial assessment, I am deeply disappointed with the quality of the DNSServer CMDlets.
Thanks for help with the error in the example

Managing from a client machine?
I wonder if there's a way to avoid full NPS role installation, and just add management tools onto a Windows 7 computer so that NPS on Windows Server 2008R2 could be managed, avoiding remote desktop.

Proofread?
Hi,Thanks for creating this article. Do the writers proofread their work? Entering the powershell commands in verbatim just doesn't work. I suggest trying the commands out on a real system before publishing them to the web. It would be quicker to go into this blindly and figure it all out, then trying to get the powershell commands to work. By the time you're done researching each and every error powershell produces, you could have installed and configured Windows 10 on a dozen computers, manual

Site-to-Site VPN & Azure AD for AX 2012 R3
We are in the process of deploying AX 2012 R3 on Azure using LCS. We have already setup a site-to-site VPN to our onprem network. What I am confused about is why this deployment requires a local Azure AD (along with a domain trust). Why can't we just use the onprem AD and hence not setup another domain on Azure!! Please advise.

how to move unmovable file using control panel?
When you shrink a partition, certain files (for example, the paging file or the shadow copy storage area) cannot be automatically relocated and you cannot decrease the allocated space beyond the point where the unmovable files are located. If the shrink operation fails, check the Application Log for Event 259, which will identify the unmovable file. If you know the cluster or clusters associated with the file that is preventing the shrink operation, you can also use the fsutil command at a comma

The nx module is included in the DSC for Linux installation package (MSI)"As part of the MSI installation process the nx module is copied to the user's documents folder.
