Please make sure you copy/paste te report server and report manager URL from the SQL Reporting Services Configuration Manager.It turns out the URL is case sensitive, and if there is an incorrect case setup in the AX configuration you receive the error message: "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" during the deployment of AX reports.
