I noticed that even the internet connection drops, the Windows 8 is still displays like he would be connected. I tried with two PPTP server: a linux, and a windows 2003 server.
$0Also, the retry mechanism that was in windows 7 does not exists. I find on forums that the reason for removing that is because nobody use DialUp. PPTP is not dial up, and I am sure that it was removed by mistake.$0
