In my case we were trying to debug a RDP problem with a Microsoft engineer and for testing he suggested adding RDP licensing services. After a while the trial period ran out and I could no longer RDP to the server. I tried killing the licensing services with the RDP configuration manager but that did not work, so I removed the whole Remote Desktop Service (Remote Desktop License Services was greyed out).
