Does anyone know the licensing implications of running Server 2008 on a 2012 datacenter edition? Can we run 2008 without purchasing additional licenses beyond the 2012 datacenter edition licenses? The reason for this is we have software only compatible with Server 2008. The Hyper-V features of 2012 are very compelling in addition to newer features and it would be a shame to put 2008 on the server in year 2013.If you do have the answer do you have any official Microsoft docs on this or know w
