they were obviously written by someone who did not see/use the actual feature as it was released.best bet is to google search for instructionsaaand, the first google post i find: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/windowsserver2008r2general/thread/a14a14c0-2406-4cfc-bb6d-0f6284401513/30 seconds of reading, 1 minute of configuring, and i have a working smtp service.. thanks MS for not buying out google and ruining the web for everyone else
