This is a great breakdown of the steps taken during a reseed, but I have experienced some differences that wanted to share. I think these steps are for a two database copy scenario, as the active database copy would need to freeze changes in order to transfer the database in that state to the second node, followed by the log files at the time the reseed was initiated.
