The list of possible values in the [tesselation_schema] column is not complete. Besides GEOGRAPHY_GRID and GEOMETRY_GRID there are also GEOGRAPHY_AUTO_GRID and GEOMETRY_AUTO_GRID, so if your code needs to read data from this view, be prepared for those values as well.
