You are correct. Terribly sorry about this. The structure of some of the tables changed when migrating from SQL Server 2008 version of AdventureWorks to the AdventureWorks2008R2 version. This broke some examples. A contractor was hired to fix all of those, and he/she didn't get this quite right. I have repaired the source code. fixing example A and dropping example B.
