Please note that if you have installed CU 1 or 2 to VMM SP1 you cannot install the agent from the DVD, it will install the wrong version. What worked for me was to browse to the Program Files\Microsoft System Center 2012\Virtual Machine Manager\Agents directory on the VMM server and install the agent from there
