Have a rather peculiar problem. Need to install Windows 7 Service Pack 1 on a laptop whose power supply is cooked. The laptop only runs on battery, which I keep recharging using another similar laptop.I can't Windows 7 Service Pack 1 as the update checks whether it is plugged in before starting the update process.Any ideas on how to get around this? Is there any way of tricking Windows into thinking that it is plugged into AC power?
