said, I ran into many issues (WSUS service would crash shortly after startup, get-wsusserver
reported errors and etcetera) after restoring the DB on the new server. As a result of this, I proceeded to run the
Server Cleanup Wizard (run just the Unused updates and update revisions first
or this might take forever!) and WsusDBMaintenance.sql on the legacy server and
reran the steps on this page and all was well.
