It should be thrown out and rewritten. As is, it strongly implies (for those not deeply familiar with Windows XP internals) that RPC Locator is not essential for Windows. In fact, this Microsoft article led me to believe that RPC Locator could be disabled without any serious consequences when just the opposite is true. Microsoft must include SEVERE WARNINGS to users/developers before they touch core services (such as RPC) via the services.msc utility. The messages should tell them explicitly tha
